Ashamed of Jesus?

There are many professing Christians who are ashamed of Jesus Christ. I have encountered countless people that profess to know Christ, but are ashamed to make a public confession. Let me ask you something, "What about you? If you are saved, do you confess Christ publicly?"
Are you like the fundamental Bible-believer who is like the bride of Christ in the Song of Solomon which says,
Song of Solomon 5:16 [...] This is my beloved, and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem.
Dear reader, you should not be ashamed of Jesus Christ, since He was not ashamed of you. In spite of the fact that He meekly left His first estate and became sin for us, He endured the torture, beastly attacks, cruelties as an innocent Man Who chose to die for you. He was perfect in every way, yet He was crucified as guilty of... NOTHING. They crucified Him because He was Good, not bad. He suffered SHAME for you as an innocent and PERFECT Man.
2 Corinthians 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
All the education, science, learning, wisdom in the world could not do for me in decades what Christ did for me in seconds. That's right! The miracle of being saved is faster than the speed of lightning. When you repent and believe that He was God in the flesh, Who was buried and rose again the third day according to the Scriptures, that moment your sins are no longer on you, but on Jesus Christ Who died on the Cross.
Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
If He did that, if He willingly suffered to be unjustly ridiculed in front of everyone for me and dying a public death as a criminal, He could not have been ashamed of me. Why would we be ashamed of Him, darlings?
"Oh, you know... I simply can't believe if I just believe on Him and do nothing apart from it I am saved. It does not seem right, it is not enough." Well, if you think that what He did for you was NOT too much, then you must truly meditate, and READ about His life and what He chose to do for you. Not your moral life brings you to Heaven (according to other religions and types of Christianity), but His righteousness is the door for you.
John 10:9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
"You have the right time to be ashamed of everybody in this world, except of Jesus Christ." Peter Ruckman
People might accuse Christians of judging them by confessing the Saviour of the world publicly, "Not enough love! Not enough love!" Really? Christ is the definition of love, so you don't have enough love to confess Him?
Jesus says,
Luke 9:26 For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels.
That's a commandment! You should not be ashamed of Him, but be His witnesses. When you don't confess Him, witness to people about Christ, nor speak about Him, you are backsliding! Keep the world at distance, keep the people who do not love Christ at distance. When they praise you, encourage you, embrace you, they are the same people who nailed your Saviour on the Cross (including yourself, but you are different when you become a child of God)!
If you don't witness Him, God will deal with you: He will chasten you, or get you whipped if you rebel and don't confess Jesus Christ publicly.
John 15:15 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.
Being God's friend... What an amazing thought, what an amazing FACT! Walk with Jesus, talk to Him, confess Him all your troubles and tell Him to help you. Everything has a price, and even if you have tribulation, it's going to be for a short season here. God has purchased you with His own blood so that you can get into His family, and I know I am part of Him. Usually, when you get saved, your views and perceptions change... you are no longer worldly. God has given you a new heart which He is going to perfect until the rapture or your personal death.
Sin is a transgression of the law, and all of us are sinners. Once committed, it has eternal consequences. Because God is Eternal, He requires an infinite payment. CHRIST DID THAT FOR YOU IF YOU ACCEPT HIM! HE PAID IT IN YOUR PLACE, BECAUSE NO ONE HAS THE INFINITE PAYMENT, OTHER THAN GOD.
Our real problem is SELF! You fear people, you would not die for Him, instead you take your pity to reputation. You have to show people you live right, you keep your standards high so that nobody can think you are a fanatic, a fool, or say something bad about you.
1 Corinthians 4:10 We are fools for Christ's sake, but ye are wise in Christ; we are weak, but ye are strong; ye are honourable, but we are despised.
When we draw closer to God, He can help us grow in Him! Dare to STAND FOR JESUS! He already did it for you! Be His friend; He wants you to!
With precious consideration,
Denisa
