Do you call on God?

Looking back, years in a row I omitted to call upon the Name of the Lord. I was conceit, proud, a blasphemer, not worthy of anything. Since I got saved, things have been changing for the glory of God. I regret years of my life wasted in vain, being a dead person walking on the street without any knowledge about the true God.
There is so much potential when it comes to the Lord using us for His glory. Remember the boy whom Jesus asked to help Him by bringing Him the basket of 5 loaves of bread and the two fishes in order to feed the five thousand people. What an amazing thought.
John 6:8-11 One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, saith unto him,
There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many?
And Jesus said, Make the men sit down. Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand.
And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would.
Jesus does not need us, God without us is still God, we without Him are nothing.
Genesis 18:27 And Abraham answered and said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord, which am but dust and ashes:
The reference brings us back to the creation of man, when the Lord made him flesh just by blowing the breath of life into His nostrils. However, God wants a genuine relationship with us, so He prefers to use us for His glory whenever we open our hearts in obedience to Him.
Prayer is a means through which we directly communicate with God to help us in troubles, in completing our tasks, daily duties and routines in His name. If you are a Christian, have you asked yourself, How do I serve the Lord today? Do I do it often enough? Do I support the missionaries for a great cause? Do I work to help my family, Christian friends and relatives? Have I given up the destructive routines and habits that are between me and God? Is He my number one priority in life?
Once in a while, meditating upon the scriptures is so overwhelming to me. The more I get closer to God, the more I realize the wickedness in me, but I feel His presence all the time. My mind is blank whenever I think about the wasted time I could have used to please Him. How many times, even as Christians, we do so many other things other than focusing on the God?
Lord, wash our minds through prayer! We are in such need of You! Give us the power to confront our wretch nature. Stir up in the hearts of Your children a lively fire, hope, love so that we desire to be more with You, our Lord, our God!
Jeremiah 20:9 [...] But his word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, [...]
Do not try to avoid reading the Scriptures. Know that God wants to talk with you every day. The good news is that when we get saved our instinctive desire is to read, study the word of God. If we seek for Him, He won't let us be defeated by weak, small matters which usually our flesh converts them into real giants. David teaches us that the giants are actually so small by comparison with God. Want to be victorious? Then choose David's giant Who aided him in killing Goliath. We can always get over things when we rely on our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ Who is our hope forever. God's glory gives us power to stay awake in prayer, in everything we do so that we can please Him. The Holy Ghost lights up in us such a wonderful calling for God in order to follow the path He wants us to. That is how He can find deep inside our hearts His Beloved Son when He searches them,
Proverbs 23:26 My son, give me thine heart, and let thine eyes observe my ways.
Turn your life over to God and you'll notice how your mouth is going to be a blessing for others in speech, and your being in deed,
Ephesians 4:29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
Be a good vessel for the Lord; He can make out of the ludicrous mouth of a filthy character a complex fragrance of roses, cinnamon, producing sweet incense through the word of God. Let your name be edifying to the hearers for God's glory in you, let your name become sweet on His lips when He pronounces it.
Allow His loving arms embrace you, fear not the trials in spite of whatever might happen,
Isaiah 41:10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
My main purpose is to serve my Lord, my God with everything that I am till He comes to rapture His church of which I am part of. Are you part of His church? If you are a born again child of God, then certainly you are part His body! Ask wisdom of Him, He gives it to you so that you can fulfill His will till the end,
James 1:15 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
Entrust your basket in the hands of the Lord; He can feed so many people with the little you have. Do not be shy! Your job is to come to Him if He requires you to!
With Christ by my side,
Denisa
