This blog is going to be a bit different than the other ones I usually address, but I guess it is part of me to give my posts a unique shade by the gift through which the Lord has blessed me with.
Since I got saved I felt a change in my heart, even though I was not aware of it in the first instance.
I've been grave about the fact that my life has a new meaning, that I feel truly alive and am not a dead person walking anymore. I have such a great love for God, for His word, exactly as the Bible teaches,
Romans 5:5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
I simply reached the stage when I realized I was a sinner before God's holy perfection, and that was my point of repentance, forsaking my old way of life.
Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he [it is] that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
Once we have the Lord, our lives are going to be about Him, about His might, about His power in us.
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man [be] in Christ, [he is] a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
Though many believe that being a Christian is mere confessing things publicly without any repentance fruit, the true convert notices some changes which go naturally as he/she draw closer to God. It is not about living your best life as a laodicean Christian by following the path of riches, opulence, prosperity, or any other type of thing, but about you being able to leave others for the sake of Christ (including friends, relatives, family, loved ones).
1 Peter 5:10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle [you].
Romans 12:12 Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;
Beloved, it is true! The Lord does not promise that things are going to be easy for a Bible-believer who lives by every word of God (Matthew 4:4), but on the contrary: God wants to have a direct relationship with us from the inside out, so keep up the faith: IT IS THE ONLY WEAPON YOU'VE GOT.
1 Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God [is] faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear [it].
The Lord is with us in every trial we might be facing,
Deuteronomy 31:5 Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
How can He be with us when we cannot see Him? How can we know He is FOREVER with us?
Well, before Christ gave up the ghost on the Cross, He said,
John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
Moreover, since Christ's death, burial and resurrection the Holy Ghost has been possessing us until the day of redemption so that we can be forever with the Lord,
Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
As humans, we will always fail God, we will always grieve the Holy Ghost in us. Therefore, God deals with us as with His own children, but we can never lose our salvation or the indwelling Holy Ghost.
Hebrews 12:6-8 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?
But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.
As Christ's disciple, you have to be willing to suffer persecution. If the Lord tarries, I know that during my last breaths, my heart is going to continue to praise the Name of the Lord. Can you imagine having that type of holiness inside which keeps growing if we are obedient in sincerity to follow God? I feel regenerated, alive, even in the greatest trials I might be facing. The life is in the blood (Leviticus 17:11), how much the Holy Ghost Who is in our pulsating hearts?
As people, we have wicked hearts. The thought of being invaded by God's Spirit to deal with my heart, to tell it grieveously I am wrong so many times, is so humbling. God can make a garden out of every cell of our body so that you can live for His glory.
In the end, when my time comes, my heart will stop beating, it will completely rot in the ground altogether with my body. I imagine a sparkling light becoming starker and starker, till I'll be lifted up out of the body, out of the Earth like a feather in the wind driven by the Spirit. The smell of myrrh, the sweet fragrance of flowers, the warm light of God's righteousness, the melodious praising hymns will be the great eternal comfort for me and for all the saints. The greatest things unseen are going to be revealed in the Lord's atemporal dimensions.
If your heart beats in God's name and for His glory, are you making sure it is revealed in your deeds, acts, words. Is it refreshing for your own body, spirit, for other brethren or people who need some fresh, sweet, fine scent in their polluted lives? If God is in your heart, your spirit is continually refreshed by your every heart beat which utters God's Name.
Jesus prayed that we are one with Him in glory, so are you one of His?
John 17:22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
Listen carefully... What does your heart cry out?
With godly comfort,
Denisa
