That is some Baby

Humankind has known the greatest prophetic event that took place on Earth: Jesus Christ, the Son of God, coming here in the form of a Man to pay the full price for our sin. So many Old Testament prophecies claimed the coming of the Messiah to deliver His people and save sinners, bringing them to repentance. With this fact in mind, let us think for a second: God manifest in the flesh in form of a baby, born of a virgin,
Luke 1:31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.
Luke 1:34 Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?
When I think about God becoming flesh, taking the appearance of our sinful nature, and most importantly the fact that HE HIMSELF WAS A BABY, CRYING, NEEDING FOOD, WATER, CARE, it blows my mind.
1 Corinthians 1:25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
Tough, tough for us to grasp, but true. A unique, one of a kind baby, the only begotten Son of God.
1 Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
Mind that mystery in the scriptures means something that was once unknown, unexplainable, but later on it took fruition and it was revealed.
John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
From His birth we could infer that He was the Messiah, for this baby CAME TO DIE for us. I know that many of us from Adam and Eve were little babies, grew up, have a life, a purpose, and in the end we die under the curse. However, baby Jesus came in the world especially for the purpose of giving Himself as a Living Sacrifice on the cross,
John 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.
Isn't that something? The greatest murderers, thieves, most disgusting people that have ever lived on the face of this Earth once were babies who were breastfed by their mothers, wanting care, protection, crying for help. Babies are innocent, yet born in a sinful nature. Even babies can be cunning, crying out for attention and victimizing themselves. Not so when it comes to Christ: He was the Son of God, conceived in Mary's womb by the Holy Ghost,
Luke 1:35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
Since Jesus' birth we can have a prophetic insight about His mission and life here on Earth by the description and the place where He was born. As prophesied, Jesus was born in Bethlehem which means "the city of bread". The place came into existence since the death of Rachel after she gave birth to Benjamin. Interestingly, Jesus is the bread of life,
John 6:35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
Moreover, Jesus was born in a stable: not a hospital, a house, or other building. This fact refers to the humility of God Himself leaving His first estate and becoming Man (Note: Jesus was NOT 50% Man and 50% God, but He was 100% Man and 100% God). He was born among beasts and animals, exactly as He was innocently crucified by wicked, wretched people like beasts.
Luke 2:12 And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.
Jesus innocently died as a thief, despite the fact that He knew no sin and He was PERFECT in all the ways. He died as a lamb in the slaughter,
Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
The clothes that He was wrapped in were not normal, also. The swaddling clothes are the type of material used to wrap and bury mummies. So, even since He was born the burden of giving up the ghost was a sign about the purpose He had here.
The baby Who created the heavens, the Earth, the stars, everything that surrounds us (including yourself) was helplessly crying.
In the end, the Lord will come back, but not in the form of a lamb, but as a lion, ready to devour everything. "Sweet baby Jesus", gonna kill them all at the Second Coming. So, better to be saved now and wait for the day of Christ to rapture the Church so that we are spared from the wrath to come.
Hebrews 12:28-29 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:
For our God is a consuming fire.
Keep your eyes on the Lord,
Denisa
