The Prince of peace

As today I went to the store, I met one of my sisters in Christ right there. We started talking about so many things on our way home, especially about the main issue that the world is confronting with nowadays: COVID-19. I kept praying to God to give me some subject to share with you from a Biblical perspective, and there loomed at the horizon the proper moment to meet Claudia (my beloved sister in Christ). In our conversation she mentioned about her sister's marriage, how she went there for several days when she was confronting with some moments of crisis in her life. Claudia mentioned several details about her visit there, but enough for me to approach the subject from a Biblical standpoint.

God answers prayers all the time, He always listens to His children, He is always there for them.

Beloved, you may meet well intentioned people talking to you about love, about care, about peace. This world is leading to one world government, one world religion, one world monetary system, and it is not a good sign. Why do I claim that? Because God says it so! The only unity God allows is the unity in Christ!

Philippians 2:2 Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, [being] of one accord, of one mind.

I am quick to warn you that this verse does not refer to tolerate everything people want to do for the sake of "bringing peace".

Proverbs 28:23 He that rebuketh a man afterwards shall find more favour than he that flattereth with the tongue.

James 5:19-20 Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.

As Christians, we should walk as children of light (1 Thessalonians 5:5), for light does not abound where darkness is. So many ungodly people talk about peace, love, yet they are in great transgression before God. Only God is truth, He is without sin, without error in Him. Whenever you are rebelling, you are building up a wall between you and the Lord. God wants a genuine relationship with people, yet they reject Him all the time, creating in their minds their own perceptions of God. If they read the Bible, they take out verses out of context to justify themselves, their rebellion, but God is not mocked.

Galatians 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

I am greatly affected by what is going on in the world, how individuals reject their Creator looking for their own lusts. They forget about the abominable transgressions which condemn their soul to hell, they forget how God is longsuffering,

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

When the time comes to rebuke the person in sin, the Christian is mocked, criticised, accused of hatred, cursed, and in some instances even killed. Why? Because they stand for God's truth, not for the "fake lies" people are deceived by.

Beloved, those of you who stand for God and for the truth, find the courage to fight, move forward, keep running, allow God to use you for His glory. In the end, comfort yourselfves with the thought that the Lord will have the final word.

People who are talking about peace (including worldly Christians here and there) cannot ever bring peace here on Earth. However, there is only ONE Person Who can bring peace, and that is Jesus Christ,

Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Human beings have to understand that nobody in this world can define the idea of love according to their own perceptions. No greater love and peace people can find other than in the Person of Jesus Christ. He is present in the heart of the believer, and ONLY BETWEEN A MAN AND A WOMAN (not woman with woman, or man with man). God despises sin, and whatever might seem right to people it is not right with Him. As a matter of fact, when people become reprobate, hardening their hearts to God, He sends them strong delusions to believe the lies they are living in.

Pslam 2:4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.

See? Do you know what derision means? According to Merriam-Webster dictionary of 1828, it means "a state of being laughed at or ridiculed : a state of being derided." Can you imagine such a God like that? Well, that is the True God that people do not like or find it difficult to accept. However, the Lord is also Loving, Compassionate, Patient, Meek in Spirit, in heart, waiting for us to turn to Him until it is not too late. He knows the heart, the depths of our thoughts; it so important to commit ourselves to Him completely.

Proverbs 23:26 My son, give me thine heart, and let thine eyes observe my ways.

Jeremiah 17:10 I the Lord search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.

1 Samuel 16:7 [...] for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.

Notice? God is interested in a simple heart devoted to His truth. Do not be stiff-necked! Get out of the world and get into the body of Christ,

As Claudia was telling me, peace is where the Lord is. Visiting her sister for several days was such a great relief for her, seeing her sister and her husband worshiping the Lord, minding their business, not being affected and focused on the world, but on Christ. "I was out of touch with reality seeing them, the way they praised the Lord. I needed it.", Claudia said.

Christian lady, are you striving to get your mind off this world, keeping your eyes on the Lord to worship Him in everything, regardless of the circumstances? If you look for peace, DO NOT go to the world, go to God! My, my... how wonderful for somebody to come to your house for a great relief, to find peace, to be comforted. Have you thought about people coming to your house and say, "I could feel the presence of God in that house!" Amazing!

That is exactly what I kept telling myself, and here God is confirming things to us through other brethren in Christ.

The Lord states,

Matthew 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

Endeavor to keep Christ in your house by obeying His word, by comforting others in His name... We need encouragement, understanding, peace. Let Christ do the work between you and your husband, look for the rapture, comfort yourselves with God's presence, love, and hope. The Prince is coming to establish peace soon in the Millennial Kingdom and also to make justice,

Revelation 19:13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

Keep your eyes on the horizon. Christ is coming soon!

Have faith,

Denisa
