Have you ever noticed what a blessing it is to know people who share lots of wonderful godly experiences, to see the life they have inside themselves once they are saved?

Well, my goal is to strive and be like a clean river of water for my family, friends, coworkers, and brethren in Christ.

Proverbs 25:25, "As cold waters to a thirsty soul, so is good news from a far country."

The good news in our age is the Gospel of Grace (1 Corinthians 15:1-4): the gift of God, the eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. When we become children of God, we are born again of the Spirit and we got the water of life,

John 3:3, "Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." Moreover, Jesus continues and explains the spiritual birth needed to get access in the Kingdom of God forever,

John 3:5-7, "Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again."

So, when you get saved you have the Holy Ghost Who is liken to water. Christ said,

John 7:38, "He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water."

When you get saved and witness about God, you give fresh water to drink to thirsty people. If you stop and think for a moment, what colour is the water? I know: some of you might jump and say it is light blue, or fading white. The truth of the matter is that water doesn't have any colour. Water reflects light like a mirror (at sunsets it's orange, at night time it's black, blue when it is sunny, sometimes it's green, brown, grey, etc.), and it is something we need in order to live; we've been drinking it since we were born. You wouldn't think what it is in actuality. Water is "colourless, odourless, and tasteless." So, it has not colour, no smell, and no taste. If you mix it with some other liquids (juice, tea, other fragrance), it starts getting different qualities in terms of colour, fragrance, or taste, but PLAIN WATER has nothing in it.

Psalm 148:4 says, "Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens."

The Everlasting Gospel found in the Bible in Revelation 14:7 preached by an angel (which does not apply in today's Church Age) is, "[..] Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters." Notice how important the water is when it comes eternal life,

John 4:14, "But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life."

Water is the second most vital thing to stay alive, apart from air.

There are different sizes of water on Earth: RAIN - which is beneficial for the crops, RIVERS, SEAS, OCEANS, LAKES, WATERFALLS, SPRINGS, WELLS, FOUNTAINS.

If the Spirit is like living waters in us, it can also be like AIR.

In Genesis 1 the first 2 most vital elements are also present: SPIRIT and water,

Ezekiel 37:9, Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.” Here the Spirit is liken unto AIR, unto life.

John 3:8 places a great emphasis on the vitality of the Spirit inside us that keeps us alive, clean, blameless,

The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

That is why Jesus Christ in John 3:5-7 places emphasis on the two main vital elements for us to live: water and Spirit. In the New Heavens and the New Earth start, out of the throne of gold comes the river of water,

Revelation 22:1, "And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb."

At the end of the Bible there is another great emphasis on the importance of the water of life and how the saints are being granted of drinking freely.

Revelation 21:6, "I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely."

Through the word of God we are made clean, purified, alive, whole,

Ephesians 5:26, That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

The picture of Christ is liken unto fresh, cold water through Whom we get eternal life,

Psalm 34:8, "O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him."

The Bible is liken unto bread (Matthew 4:4), unto milk (1 Corinthians 3:2), unto fruit (Proverbs 25:11, "apples of gold in pictures of silver") where we can also find the water of life.

Feed yourself with the word sweet like honey (Psalm 119:103) and you will find rivers of water streaming gloriously freely from you.

With sweet godly love,

Denisa
